My father particularly liked this purse and gave it it’s name. Maybe he thought it looked prim and proper and perfect to carry to a tea party!
At any rate, it’s a pretty stunning piece. The chainwork consists of rows of jet crystals, crystal baguettes and paparadscha colored baguettes. The enamel is a translucent whisper gold that begs to show off the guilloché underneath.
This is the largest minaudiére, still 4” wide, but, 6” tall. There is no strap as it is meant to be carried more like a clutch.
